Commission in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra examined 11 out of 79 objects

The Commission of the Ministry of Culture examined 11 out of 79 objects of the reserve in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. Maryana Tomin, chairman of the commission for the transfer and acceptance of property of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, said this on the air of the telethon, babel.ua reports.

“For this week, we managed to conduct a survey in a full-fledged calm technological mode of 5 buildings. These are building 43 (local cells), building 48 (Warm Temple), as well as buildings 54, 56 and 57, two of which are monuments of local importance, one — a monument of national importance,” said Tomin.

On Monday, May 1, 10 more objects should be checked. The Commission intends to speed up its work.

Regarding the condition of the objects, the official noted that 5 out of 11 are in a satisfactory condition.

“Buildings 54 and 57 are in very good condition. But these are the buildings where the representatives of the monastery are located … And the previous ones, I think you saw the condition of the 112 building,” Tomin said.
