People’s deputies of different factions addressed a letter to the head of the SSU Vasily Malyuk with a call to pay attention to the safety of the relics of the reverend Caves. This was stated by the people’s deputy from the “Servant of the People” Nikita Poturaev, the press service of the Verkhovna Rada reports.

Poturaev is sure that the UOC is obliged to return to the state “relics and other expensive and historically significant items.”

At the same time, the politician called the relics of the saints “museum exhibits”: “We turned to the head of the SSU, Vasily Malyuk, with a letter, so I am sure that the competent authorities will take care that nothing is lost from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.”
