As you know, the management of the reserve sent a letter to the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra with a notification of the unilateral termination of the agreement on the gratuitous use of the Lavra facilities. The reserve explained its actions by the conclusion of the interdepartmental commission, which checked the conditions for compliance with the agreement. From the letter it can be understood that the monastery seemed to have violated the terms of the contract. However, what is at stake is still unknown, since the officials of the Ministry of Culture have not published the conclusion of the commission. This was reported by the Information and Educational Department of the UOC.
According to the BBC, the examination itself, on the basis of which the contract for the use of property was allegedly terminated, will not be published and received a stamp for official use.
It is obvious that such a conspiracy of actions of representatives of a state body can only testify to the repressive purpose of history with the unilateral termination of this agreement, which is not aimed at preserving historical monuments, but overtly discriminating against Ukrainian citizens for their religious beliefs.
