On the morning of February 7, a group of OCU activists broke into the ancient Intercession Church in the village of Trebukhov, Kyiv region. This is reported by the Telegram channel DOZOR on the Pershiy Kozatskiy.
According to parishioners, when they came to their shrine, the doors of the temple were broken with a crowbar and chopped with an axe.
Activists of the OCU lined up in front of the church, who did not allow the church community to pass. Some of the believers managed to get into their shrine. In the middle of the temple were unknown people, led by a cleric of the OCU. The deputy of the Brovary Council Bogdana Drach, who had previously confessed to trying to forcibly seize the Intercession Church, was also on the spot.
The believers called the police to the scene, and the organizers of the storming of the temple took refuge in the church.
Thanks to law enforcement officers, the invaders managed to be taken out of the church premises.
“The police guard the entrance and do not let anyone into the shrine,” the report said.
