Ternopil deputies voted for the return of the Pochaev Lavra to state ownership

At the session of the Ternopil Regional Council, the deputies voted for the appeal “on the return of the complex of buildings of the Pochaev Holy Assumption Lavra of the 18-19th century to state ownership.” It is reported by Suspilne.

The appeal is addressed to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, the chairmen of the Verkhovna Rada and the SSU, as well as the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

Also, the elected representatives demand to investigate the “anti-Ukrainian activities of the clergy of the UOC.”
