On November 11, 2022, the Zvenigorod City Council of the 8th convocation (Cherkasy region) at the 20th session decided to ban the activities of the UOC on the territory of the Zvenigorod territorial community.  This was announced on his Facebook page by the “priest” of the OCU from Chigirin Vasily Tsiril.

The council assigned control over the implementation of this decision to the permanent commission on culture, education, spirituality, youth, sports, protection of cultural and historical heritage, and the media.
