One of the hierarchs of the OCU in the Lviv region, the former head of the UAOC Makariy Maletych became the temporary chairman of the Council of Churches of Lviv.

This was announced on September 1 by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maxim Kozitsky and the press center of the LRMA, RISU informs.

Maletych will head the Council for the next six months.

Makariy Maletych is a permanent member of the Synod of the OCU, an honorary citizen of Lviv.
