The Archdiocese of Orthodox Parishes of Russian Tradition in Western Europe is celebrating its 100th anniversary on June 26, 2022. The announcement of the events was published by orthodoxie.
The celebration will begin with the Divine Liturgy at the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Paris, which will be led by Metropolitan John (Renneto) of Dubna, co-served by the bishops and clergy of the Archdiocese.
Also a lecture by Oleg Kobtzeff, a visiting professor at the St. Sergius Theological Institute, a former professor at the St. German Orthodox Seminary in Alaska (USA), on the topic “The Historical Path of the Western European Archdiocese of the Orthodox Churches of the Russian Tradition: the First 100 Years”, is scheduled.
On the same day, the presentation of the site dedicated to the centenary of the Archdiocese will take place.
