The head of the OCU fled from the war to Greece?

The resource “For the Ukrainian Church”, close to the UOC-KP, citing sources in the Kiev Metropolis of the Greek OCU, claims that the head of the OCU, Epiphany Dumenko, on February 25, having learned about the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine, took a photo with a candle in the temple and fled to Greece.

According to the authors of the post, while the Primate of the UOC, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry, prays in the monastery in Feofaniya in Kyiv and the head of the UOC-KP Filaret Denisenko serves in the St. Volodymyr Cathedral in Kyiv, the head of the OCU, Epiphany Dumenko, “has already fled the capital of Ukraine and is sitting in Greece.”

“Eyewitnesses claim that on February 25, Metropolitan Epiphanius found out that Putin had declared war on Ukraine, immediately packed his things, went to St. Michael’s Golden-domed Cathedral, took a picture with a candle and left for Greece. Away from the problems of war,” the authors write.
