The Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church is working on creating its own countermeasure plan in the event of a full-scale invasion by Russian troops. This was stated by the head of the UGCC Svyatoslav Shevchuk during an online press conference “Ukraine: the Church’s experience of eight years of armed conflict,” writes RP.
“We feel a responsibility to the entire Ukrainian society and are trying to make our own plan of what to do, especially when there is a possibility of a full-scale military invasion by Russian troops at any moment,” Shevchuk said.
