The Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia has become the second largest denomination in the country

The Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia has become the second largest denomination in the Czech Republic, writes the Khrizma Center.

The PCChS, despite its small number, is of particular importance for the Slavic-Orthodox world. The Patriarchate of Constantinople has been conducting long-term intrigues regarding the PCChS and in fact demands obedience from it.

“In August 2019, the Phanariots registered an association of Orthodox believers in the Czech Republic, which, according to the charter, is under the leadership of the Patriarchate of Constantinople. And the Czech Bishop Isaiah (Slaninka) (the “Trojan horse” of Constantinople in the OCCHS) even “concelebrated” in Kiev with Sergey Dumenko in the same year, without the consent of his first hierarch, Metropolitan Rostislav (who expressed a warning to Bishop Isaiah),” Telegram reminded channel.

At the present stage, the re-creation of the Church in the Czech Republic is connected with the activity of Bishop-Martyr Gorazd (Pavlik).
