On December 24, 2021, in the Church of St. John of Nepomuk in Dubno, Rivne region, a pre-Christmas service was held, led by the rector of the church Grzegorz Ovazhany and the rector of the Church of the Ascension of the Lord of the UGCC Andrei Koval.
With the Roman Catholic and Greek Catholic priests at the service were the rector of the Holy Onuphrius Church of the OCU in the village of Zlinets, Dubensky district, Roman Voytseshchuk, and the rector of the Holy Barbara Monastery of the OCU in Dubno, Vladimir Paseka, DFU reports with reference to monitor-press.com.
Together with the parishioners, the holiday was shared by representatives of the authorities – the mayor Vasily Antonyuk and the chairman of the Dubensky district council Viktor Kovalev. Believers of different confessions came to the temple.
There were also carols and congratulations performed by the choir of the Holy Protection Cathedral of the OCU under the direction of the choir director Sergei Gavrilenko.
As previously reported, the OCU proposes to celebrate Christmas from December 25 to January 7.
