On December 5, 2021, the “Archbishop” of the UOC-KP Andriy Marutsak, accompanied by the clergy of St. Vladimir’s Cathedral of the capital, visited the parish of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village of Krasna Slobidka, Obukhiv district, Kyiv region. This was reported on the Facebook page of the Kyiv Patriarchate.

As noted, due to constant harassment and threats of raider seizure from representatives of the OCU, the rector of the church, Alexander Fadeev, and the church community decided to hold a general meeting of the parish after the liturgy.

At this meeting, it was unanimously decided to remain in the jurisdiction of the UOC-KP, headed by Filaret Denisenko.

As previously reported, the parish of the UOC-KP in the village is fighting off the raider actions of the OCU in Klavdievo-Tarasovo in the Kyiv region.
