On November 8, 2021, on the day of remembrance of the great martyr Demetrius of Thessaloniki, the patronal feast is celebrated by the church in the name of this saint in the village of Kodaky (Vasilkiv district of the Kyiv region). On November 10, 2020, the temple in Kodaky was consecrated by the ex-metropolitan of the UOC, now a representative of the OCU, Alexander Drabinko, according to the website of the Pereyaslav-Vishnev diocese of the OCU.
In addition, it is noted that the former monk of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Innokentiy Pidtoptanny, has been appointed as the abbot in Kodaky.
On this day, co-served by the rector and clergy of the diocese, Drabinko celebrated the liturgy, which, judging by the photo, was joined by about 10 residents of the village (the population of the village of Kodaky is about 1300 people).
It is reported that Innokenty Pidtoptanny was appointed to this parish instead of the deceased previous abbot Vitaly Danilyuk.
