The relics of the “founder of the OCU” will be brought to the Lviv church of the OCU from Rome

On August 19, 2021, the relics of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called will be brought to the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord of the OCU, and St. great martyr and healer Panteleimon from Rome. The abbot of this church tells his followers that St. Ap. Andrey is the founder of the OCU. Gal-info writes about this.

“The saints are our heavenly friends, and especially those who are glorified on our earth, and among them a special place belongs to Ap. Andrew the First-Called, who bears the title of the founder of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, ”said the rector of the church, Fr. Vladimir Bilovus.

Earlier, the confessor of the Kiev Theological Academy and Seminary, Archimandrite Markell (Pavuk), explained that representatives of the OCU are trying to convince the Ukrainians that not all of Russia, but only Ukraine is the right holder of Vladimir’s Baptism, and thus oppose Russia in order to justify their existence, their split. The same tactics for self-affirmation are used by the Greek Catholics who fell away from the Orthodox Church in 1596.
