Exarch of the Patriarch of Constantinople in Ukraine, Bishop of Coman Mykhailo (Anischenko) presided over the liturgy in St. Andrew’s Church on 4 July. He was concelebrated by Hierodeacon Chrysostomos (Hadzinikolau) from the skete of St. Panteleimon of the Kutlumush monastery on Mount Athos, writes DF.
Reportedly, parishioners and Greek pilgrims prayed during the service, among whom was the director of the Greek lyceum from the island of Imbros (Turkey), archon of the Ecumenical Patriarchate Joachim Kaburopoulos. Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew was born on the island of Imbros and spent his school years.
