Some media reported that Robert Amsterdam, an American lawyer who defends the interests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, arrived in Kiev on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.

It is noted that Amsterdam crossed the Ukrainian-Polish border around five in the morning on February 20 and arrived in Kiev by train. From the station, he allegedly went to meet with the Primate of the UOC Blessed Metropolitan Onufry in Theophany.

On Wednesday, February 21, he allegedly planned a meeting with some Ukrainian media. A meeting with Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk is also planned.

It is also reported that Amsterdam’s visit to Kiev will last at least until Friday, February 23.

We shall remind you that earlier we reported that American lawyer Robert Amsterdam, who as a lawyer has been representing the interests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church since last fall, will travel to Kiev in the coming days.
