The parish of the Resurrection of the Lord of the “Kyiv Patriarchate” in Madrid, which remained subordinate to Filaret, celebrated the fourth anniversary of its founding. This is reminded on the Facebook page of the community.

“I congratulate all parishioners of the Church of the Resurrection of the Lord of the UOC-KP, rector father Paul, on the 4th anniversary of the founding of our parish, the first and only for the Kyiv Patriarchate in Madrid. Not an easy and thorny path,” the message says.

As previously reported, Filaret appointed an abbot to Madrid after he left the OCU.
