Inna Sovsun, an MP of the Golos party, said on the air of Espresso that it is necessary to tell in Europe that the UOC is not the Church, but a branch of the KGB.

According to her, it is necessary to do so in order that Europe did not resent the persecution of the UOC. Personally, the deputy herself does so.

“In Europe there really is a sensitivity about this. But as soon as you begin to explain to them that this is not a religious organization, but a branch of the KGB, which is flourishing here in Ukraine, in principle, everything becomes clear to everyone,” Sovsun said.

Also, the deputy urged to take away from the UOC churches not “point by point”, but globally.

“If it is dotty, then it will always lead to court cases. Yes, it is possible to revise the right of ownership of these or other objects. But then it will be a question of what we are revising the right of ownership on,” said Sovsun.

She has added that “the difficult question will be to whom to transfer this property. For some churches that belong to the UOC MP, there are questions as to whether they should go to the ОCU or the UGCC.
