The head of the UOC-KP received an invitation to a meeting on the 230th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution on May 3. The Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, together with the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine, invited Filaret to the Metropolitan Gardens of Sophia at 4 pm next Thursday.
Filaret, despite the gradual loss of influence in Ukraine, remains a solid figure in the European and American church space. It will be interesting to see which other religious leaders decide to join the event.
On the part of the organizers there will be Vice-Marshal of the Sejm of Poland Malgorzata Gosevska and Vice-Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Paulus Saudargas.
