Easter in Kyiv will take place without additional restrictions. According to the capital’s mayor Vitali Klitschko, from May 1, restrictions on the work of trade, transport and catering will be stopped in Kyiv. Markets and gyms will reopen.
Earlier, the head of the representative office of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in Kyiv, Oleg Ruban, said that if Kyiv decides to end the lockdown, then additional restrictions will not apply on Easter, only those that will be provided for by the corresponding adaptive quarantine zone will remain.
At the same time, the celebration of Easter in churches will be held in compliance with a special order, which was agreed by the authorities and representatives of religious organizations.
