The Patriarchate of Constantinople allowed a representative of the “OCU” – a native of the “Kyiv Patriarchate”, who was deprived of apostolic succession, to participate the ordinations of its clergy.
This means that Constantinople continues to burn all bridges and demonstrates a complete unwillingness to make any compromise with the Local Orthodox Churches that did not recognize the OCU.
At least some compromise was possible if the Phanar agreed to reorder the OCU hierarchy. Now it became finally clear that the phanariots rejected even this option and are not going to make any concessions on this issue.
In our opinion, one cannot do without “raising the rates for the Patriarchate of Constantinople. No half measures will help.
