The vicar of the Volyn eparchy of the UOC supported the persecuted community of Romanov village

On March 7, 2021, the vicar of the Volyn eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Bishop Kamen-Kashirsky Athanasius (German), performed a divine service in the temporary church of the persecuted St. Boris-Gleb community of the UOC in the village of Romanov, Lutsk district, Volyn region. This was reported by the press service of the Volyn eparchy.

The bishop was co-served by the parish rector, Archpriest Nikolai Davidyuk.

During the service they offered up an intense prayer for peace in Ukraine and the unity of world Orthodoxy.

Fr. Nikolai, on behalf of the community, thanked the bishop for the archpastoral visit and asked him to always remember the Orthodox of the village of Romanov in prayers.
