Viktor Yelensky was re-elected head of SSEFC

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has re-elected Viktor Yelenskyy to the post of head of the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience. About it reports the publication “Ukrinform” with reference to the representative of the Government in the Verkhovna Rada.

“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Yelensky Victor Yevgenyevich Chairman of the State service of Ukraine on ethno-politics and freedom of conscience”, – stated in the message.

It is worth noting that Viktor Yelensky is one of the ideologists of the bill № 8371, aimed at banning the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Earlier, we reported that the head of the international law firm Amsterdam & Partners LLP, Robert Amsterdam, who represents the interests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, called on the US government to impose personal sanctions against the head of the Ukrainian state service for ethno-politics and freedom of conscience, Viktor Yelenskyy.
