The SSU has handed the fourth suspicion to Metropolitan of Cherkasy diocese of the UOC Theodosius (Snigiryov). About it reports the Politics of the country.

The reason were the statements of the ruler about the seizure of the monastery of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Cherkassy and the expulsion from there and beating of the servants of the Church. The SSU claims that these are fakes.

Also in his sermons, Metropolitan Theodosius “tried to discredit clergymen of other denominations” and recorded “destructive video messages”.

The hierarch was accused of discrimination on religious grounds. Now the bishop is under house arrest, the question of changing the measure of restraint to a stricter.

We will remind, earlier we wrote that employees of the Security Service of Ukraine reported about a new suspicion to the manager of Cherkasy diocese of the UOC Metropolitan Feodosiy for inciting interreligious hatred and denial of armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
