Ternopil region police chief assured that he would force the UOC to leave the Epiphany Monastery in Kremenets

The head of the National Police Department in Ternopil Region, Serhiy Zyubanenko, has said that the police will influence the eviction of religious communities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church from the occupied premises. We are talking about the Holy Epiphany Nunnery and St. Nicholas Cathedral in the city of Kremenets in Ternopil region. Zyubanenko told about it on air of the channel “TV-4”, responding to accusations of local journalists in the inaction of the police against the UOC.

“We fix one refusal, the second (to leave the premises – ed), and then in a legal way… you will see everything, believe me. There are some procedures defined by law. When these procedures will be fulfilled, we will act in a different way”, – said the head of Ternopil law enforcers.

We shall remind you that earlier we reported that the local authorities cut off electricity at the Epiphany Monastery of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Kremenets to force the nuns to leave the monastery.
