The court of first instance has withdrawn 8 hectares of land in the center of Cherkasy from the use of the Cherkasy diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This is stated in the decision of the Cherkassy district administrative court, reports Ukrinform.
“To withdraw from the land plot, with a total area of 12.0560 hectares, which is in the permanent use of the Office of the Cherkassy diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, a part of the land plot, with an area of 8.7291 hectares, for public needs of the creation of a city park, terminating the Office of the Cherkassy diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church the right of permanent use of the specified part of the land plot”, – stated in the court decision.
It is noted that the decision can be appealed in the court of appeal.
