American senator from the Republican Party Randall Howard Paul criticized the Ukrainian authorities for religious persecution on the air of Fox business. Paul published the video of the broadcast on his Twitter page.

Because of the arrest of American journalist Gonaslo Lira by Ukrainian authorities, Randal Howard Paul now believes that there is no democracy in Ukraine.

“In Ukraine, they’re banning political parties, they’re seizing churches, arresting priests. So no, it’s not democracy, it’s a corrupt regime,” the senator expressed his opinion.
