On September 14, 2023, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy reported that the appeals court “obliged to dismantle” the Tithe Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary.

“The Northern Economic Court of Appeal considered the appeal of the Religious Community of the UOC-MP Religious Community of the UOC-MP Desyatinny Temple against the decision of the Economic Court of the city of Kiev from 15.02.2023 in the case № 910/9385/20 and confirmed the obligation to release the site from the illegally built temple-mafa on the territory of the National Museum of the history of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.

The Ministry also thanked the court “for a fair decision”.
