“I am most happy when the only correct process takes place: those communities that care about religion (who go to church to God) are transferred from the Moscow Patriarchate to the OCU. This is the best thing possible. The authorities have nothing to do with it. The community made such a decision on its own, and together with the father the parishioners moved to the OCU,” Prokopiv said.

According to the MP, at the same time, “the authorities can not be on the sidelines, because we realize that in the bulk of the UOC had nothing to do with religion, but only had a religious signboard. This structure is a pure water “branch of the FSS, where they kept weapons, agents, engaged in the recruitment of Ukrainians, etc. That is, they “worked” for the Russian Federation, and we as city authorities cannot turn a blind eye to this. Both the central authorities on their part (I mean the SSU working very effectively in this direction) and the city authorities should take appropriate decisions.”

“As far as the city is concerned, it should be exclusively about economic decisions.
