The Security Service of Ukraine has said that in Transcarpathia “documented crimes” of the rector of one of the churches of the Khust diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. About it reports the official website of the SSU.

“According to the investigation, the cleric on his own page in one of the popular social networks published materials in which he insulted the religious feelings of believers of other faiths. He also posted images with banned symbols of the communist regime”, – stated in the message.

It is noted that the investigation on these facts continues. The suspected cleric could face up to 5 years in prison.
