On August 21, 2023, the Sosnovskyy district court in Cherkasy began considering the case against Metropolitan Feodosiy of Cherkasy and Kanev, the press service of the Cherkasy diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church reports.

The Security Service of Ukraine accuses the bishop of committing crimes under Art. 161 and Art. 436-2 of the Criminal Code (violation of equal rights of citizens depending on their religious beliefs and justification, recognition of lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
