Archpriest Nikolai Danilevich commented on the ban on the religious procession to Pochaev

Archpriest Nikolai Danilevich, Deputy Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, commented on the decision of the Rivne Regional Military Administration to ban the religious procession to the Pochaev Lavra on his own Telegram channel.

“Who would explain to me how several hundred people who go and pray can threaten state security? pilgrimages and religious processions of Christians of other denominations, do not they see? Or do we not live in the same country? ”Father Nikolai wrote.

According to him, it is obvious that under martial law these restrictive measures “are justified, but equally for all confessions and regions.”
