On August 15, 2023, on the feast of the appearance of the Most Holy Theotokos in the Josaphat Valley, in the Mogilev-Podolsk diocese, a conciliar hierarchal service was performed at the site of the miraculous appearance of the Mother of God. This was reported by the press service of the Vinnitsa diocese.

The service was led by Metropolitan Sergiy of Ternopil and Kremenets, who was co-served by: Metropolitan Jonathan of Tulchin and Bratslav, Metropolitan Agapit of Mogilev-Podolsk and Shargorod, Metropolitan Vladimir of Volyn and Kovel, Metropolitan Varsonofy of Vinnitsa and Bar, Rector of Kiev Theological Schools Archbishop Sylvester of Belogorod, Archbishop of Ladyzhin Sergiy and Bishop of Ivano-Frankivsk and Kolomyia Nikita. Numerous clergy from Vinnitsa and other regions of Ukraine co-served with the bishops.

“At the service, special prayer requests were raised for peace on our Ukrainian land; for the Holy Church of Christ, which, unfortunately, has recently experienced new persecutions; for deliverance from the enemy; for the Lord to take pity on our people and save those who are in despair and lost at home; about the blessing of God to people of good will who help those in need. The archpastors asked God for mercy to the Ukrainian people, so that the Lord would make the power wiser, strengthen the courage of the soldiers, free the captives, heal the sick and give shelter to those who were deprived of their homes. Prayers were also offered for the repose of the dead Ukrainian soldiers and all those innocently killed in the war,” the message reads.

At the end, the icon of the apparition of the Most Holy Theotokos and the crosses were consecrated, which today the believers brought and installed in the valley.
