On his Telegram channel, student of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary Mikhail Pratsyuk published a video in which the teenager Timofey from Belogorodka told his story of being in the OCU and why he became a sexton in the UOC. The boy during the speech stands against the backdrop of the capture of St. Michael’s Church.
“For five months I went to the OCU, but I rethought everything. Everything is obvious here – some people are praying, others are shouting “shame”, in front of the crosses they are shouting “death to the enemies.” My father is at the front, and I am a sexton in the church of Belogorodka. And while he is fighting, supporters of the OCU cut the locks on our church. It’s a pity for these people, it’s sad. I really hope that someday they will come to God, repent, and everything will be fine with them,” said Timofey.
