The party “European Solidarity” from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada called on the mono-majority to immediately put on the agenda a bill on the ban of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This is reported by the publication “High Castle”.

The party said that “such bills have long been registered in Parliament and artificially blocked by the majority”.

“To stop this disgrace is called to develop by us the bill № 8221. It was supported by the majority of regional councils. Moreover, more than 80 percent of Ukrainians want to ban the activities of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine,” MP Mykola Knyazhytsky said.
