On June 29, 2023 the Economic court of Khmelnytsky region made a decision, according to which the religious organization of Kamyanets-Podilsky St. Nicholas parish is obliged to leave the temple with the bell tower. About it reports the publication “XM-inside”.

The Church and the bell tower are monuments of architecture of the XIV century and belong to the National historical and architectural reserve “Kamenets”.

“The court recognized that under the circumstances, the agreement on the gratuitous use by a religious organization of religious buildings and other property is illegal, satisfied the claim of the reserve and obliged the St. Nicholas parish of the UOC-MP to release the building of St. Nicholas Church with the bell tower and transfer it to its rightful owner. Also recovered from the religious organization 2 684 UAH of court fee”, – stated in the message.
