According to statistics from the Religion on Fire project team, 236 UOC churches are known to have been destroyed or damaged because of the war.

It is noted that a total of 462 religious shrines have been destroyed or damaged since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, of which:

UOC – 236;
OCU – 36;
UGCC and RCC – 12;
Protestant – 142;
Muslim – 7;
Jewish – 15;
Spiritual educational institutions – 6;
Other religions – 8.
