Orthodox Serbs held a procession in support of Kosovo and the UOC

On June 11, 2023, Orthodox Serbs gathered in Belgrade for a prayer procession in support of Kosovo and the UOC. It was organized by the Association “Family Meeting”. Rightblog writes about it.

First, the believers offered up their prayers for the long-suffering Kosovo region, three Ukrainian Lavras, their monks and parishioners, and set off in procession through the center of Belgrade – from the building of the Serbian Patriarchate to the Church of St. Sava on Vracar.

At the head of the procession were the icons of St. Savva of Serbia and St. Sergius of Radonezh. In addition, believers carried a large reproduction of the miraculous icon of the Pochaev Mother of God with the inscription “We will not give up our shrines”, as well as the icons of the Cathedral of Saints of the Kiev-Pechersk and Pochaev Lavra.
