This year, for the majority of parishes of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, Easter became the first holiday, because most of the new communities are not yet a year old. This was reported by the Department for External Church Relations of the UOC. All temple and prayer rooms of Ukrainian Orthodox parishes abroad were completely filled with believers on Easter.
Easter services were celebrated in more than 40 parishes of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in 15 European countries (Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Hungary, France, Switzerland).
After the celebration of divine services in foreign new communities of the UOC, positive and grateful responses are received from Ukrainians, for whom Orthodox parishes have become not only the center of prayer and spiritual life, but also a meeting place with the Motherland.
