The OCU is asked to “treat with understanding possible restrictions and security measures” on March 12, during the service of the head of the OCU, Epifaniy Dumenko, in the Assumption Cathedral of the Upper Lavra, whom the OCU website called “the holy archimandrite of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.”
The service will be held in honor of the feast of the Cathedral of All the Reverend Fathers of the Kiev Caves.
“The OCU asks to treat with understanding the possible restrictions and security measures that will be in place in connection with the martial law,” the OCU press service wrote.
