The joint-stock company “Ukrposhta” terminated the lease agreement with the believers of the UOC, who intended to rent the company’s premises in Rozhyshche in Volyn. The action of the document was terminated and the act of returning the property from the lease was issued. It is reported by Rayon Rozhyshche.

As noted in Ukrposhta, their premises cannot be used for meetings of religious associations.

“Ukrposhta really held an auction in order to find a tenant for the premises owned by the company. The winner of the auction was FLP, with whom a lease agreement was concluded on November 24. Later it turned out that the tenant intended, among other things, to hold meetings of supporters of the UOC-MP. However, the premises of Ukrposhta cannot be a meeting place for religious associations. Therefore, the lease agreement was terminated, the act of returning property from the lease was signed on November 30, ”the press service explained.

Ukrposhta adds that the hall in Rozhyshche will soon be put up for auction again.

“In order to avoid such situations, a clause on limiting the functioning of religious organizations at the facility will be added to the terms of the lease,” the report says.
