The cleric of the Odessa diocese, Archdeacon Andriy Palchuk, published a video on Telegram in which a Ukrainian soldier supported the UOC and called on everyone to unite and mutual support.

“I am a parishioner of our Ukrainian Orthodox Church, whose Primate is His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry. I am mobilized, I am 600 km from my home. I have not yet participated in the hostilities, but I think we will all participate in them. And I want to say – may the Lord God protect us, help us, the Mother of God and all the saints. They help according to our faith,” said the soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

He also noted that propaganda directed against the Church is hostile and does not help end the war.
