Deputies of the Khmelnytsky city council voted for the termination of the right to permanent use of land plots of two religious communities of the Khmelnytsky diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This is reported by “Glavkom”.
We are talking about land plots with a total area of 0.25 hectares.
As one of the local deputies noted to the publication, the initiator of the consideration was the permanent commission on urban planning, land relations and environmental protection.
At a meeting of the commission that met before the session, the deputies proposed returning land to religious communities on the condition that they leave the UOC and “move” to the OCU.
The interlocutor of the “Glavkom” reported that religious communities intended to build temples for worship on this land.
