On August 17, 2022, on the day of the eighth anniversary of the enthronement of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine, Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia sent congratulations to His Beatitude. “Remembering with joy the days of your election and enthronement of the Metropolitans of Kyiv and all Ukraine, we brotherly congratulate you on the eighth anniversary of your archpastoral service at the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, of which you are a zealous and sacrificial pastor, you have set an example of evangelical love for our Lord, Who is the perfect peace and perfect love, and to the flock entrusted to you, which testifies with their lives that no one will separate them from the Love of Christ,” writes Archbishop of Peć, Metropolitan of Belgrade and Karlovci, the Patriarch of Serbia Porfirije.
