The Russian Orthodox Church clergy from five countries co-served in Kenya

On the Sunday of All Saints Who Resplendent in the Russian Land, a conciliar Divine Liturgy was held in the Church of the Holy Great Martyr Catherine in Nairobi (Kenya). Priests of the Russian Orthodox Church from five countries co-served: Priest Georgy Maksimov (Russia), Archimandrite Nifont (Hule) (Nigeria), Priest Jacob Karanja (Kenya), Priest Georgy Chabvera (Malawi), Priest Peter Bikamumpaka (Rwanda).

This was informed in Telegram by the Patriarchal Exarch of the Russian Orthodox Church in Africa, Metropolitan of Klin Leonid (Gorbachev) on June 26, 2022.

At the end of the divine service, Priest Georgy Maksimov held a pastoral seminar for the deans who had specially arrived for the meeting. In addition to solving practical issues facing the missions, fruitful communication and exchange of experience on the preaching of Orthodoxy among Protestants took place.
