In the Kherson region, vandals broke windows in the temple of the UOC

On the night of February 25, 2022, in the town of Holaya Pristan, Kherson region, unknown vandals broke windows in the church of Seraphim of Sarov of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This was announced on his Facebook page by the rector of the temple father Gennady Shkil.

He informs, the day before, a drunken resident came to the temple and began to accuse him “of the fact that there is a war in the country, leaving, he threatened me that I was living the last day and tomorrow, i.e., today, the end will come to me, moreover, he said all this is in Russian for me”.

In the evening, distant ruptures and the clinking of glass were heard, in the morning the rector’s wife found broken glass in the church.

“I informed the district police officer, he promised to report the attack to the authorities and said to expect a call… I’ve been waiting for more than an hour…,” writes the priest.
