Patriarch Porfiry recovers from coronavirus infection

The head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Porfiry, said that he had recovered from the effects of Covid-19 infection, which he was diagnosed with two weeks ago, writes balkanist.ru.

“I thank the fathers, brothers and sisters in Christ, who prayed for the health of all of us and took care of our speedy recovery. May God heal all the sick and strengthen all those who heal them, grant peace and joy to all in the Holy Spirit, may we gather in the church of St. Savva on the day of his holy memory, January 27, to solemnly honor our First Archbishop and Enlightener, ”- urged Patriarch Porfiry on his Instagram profile.

Vladyka posted a photograph of him sitting at his desk and wrote: “God’s blessing be with you all.”
