On January 15, 2022, on the day of the memory of St. Seraphim of Sarov the Wonderworker, Archbishop of Alexandria and Svetlovodsk Bogolep paid an archpastoral visit to the religious community in honor of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village. Checheleevka in the Petrovsky district of the Kirovograd region. The parish was subjected to illegal re-registration and today lives in a state of constant attacks and aggression from supporters of the OCU. Despite all the hardships, with God’s grace, the Orthodox community not only continues its saving mission, but also looks to the future with optimism.
