1001 days the religious community of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the name of St. Michael the Archangel s. Zadubrovka of the Zastavnovsky district of the Chernivtsi region. On November 11, 2021, on the occasion of a memorable date for the arrival, a night service was held in the temple, writes Pravlife.

Dean of the Zastavnovsky church district, Archpriest Mikhail Slivchuk and priests from the villages of Mikhalcha, Tovtry, Zavoloka, Yaseny, Shubranets, whose churches suffered from attacks by religious raiders of the OCU and UOC-KP in 2019.

After the Liturgy, the clergy and laity prayed for the repose of the former rector of the St. Michael’s Church of Zadubrovka village Archpriest Leonid Delikatny.

At the end of the service, Archpriest Mikhail Slivchuk addressed the community with words of support and guidance. Archpriest Vitaly Durov thanked the parish guests for their prayerful support, and the community – for the steadfastness and loyalty to the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Let us remind you that the religious community in the name of the holy Archangel Michael of Zadubrovka village of the Zastavnovsky district of the Chernivtsi region began a prayer stand in defense of her church on February 15, 2019, during an attempt to enter the liturgical building of aggressive supporters of the schismatic Orthodox Church of Ukraine. Religious raiders have repeatedly tried to seize the temple, one of the attacks they made on the night of May 4, 2020, on the day of the death of the parish rector, Archpriest Leonid Delikatny. The UOC community, illegally re-registered in favor of the OCU, is seeking the restoration of its rights through the courts. Believers are on duty around the clock in the church and read the tireless Psalter with a prayer for peace in Ukraine.
